He was detained this morning by the Security Department. PrevezaA 41-year-old man who was charged with attempted murder, kidnapping and domestic violence against his ex-wife.

Last night in Ioannina, the perpetrator put his 36-year-old wife and their approximately two-year-old child in his car and, against her will and their initial consent, drove to the Preveza area. The woman called the police and reported the incident.

The 41-year-old man then tried to throw the car into a ravine, but avoided it as the car stopped due to dense vegetation.

This morning, the parents and the child were spotted by policemen from the Tesprotiko police station moving around in the Preveza area and were taken to the Preveza Security Department for a preliminary investigation. The detainee will be taken to the Preveza prosecutor’s office.
