Another case of domestic violence occurred, this time in Heraklion, Crete.

The incident occurred yesterday, Sunday, April 23, at 23:00 in the house where the mother and daughter, 37 and 16 years old, respectively, live. The estranged husband of a 37-year-old Iraqi woman was found there, where, under unclear circumstances, he allegedly threatened them, insulted them, and then, according to police, took out a knife, which he stabbed and slightly wounded the right hand of his former partner.

The mother and daughter reported the incident and the 44-year-old man to the police. The man has been arrested, charged with domestic violence and arms trafficking, and will face prosecutors.

As the mother and daughter told the police, this is not the first time they meet the violent face of a 44-year-old man, and in the past his ex-wife, according to the complaint, was subjected to physical violence from him.
