The marriage announcement was made on Instagram, where Biles also added “Owens” to her full name.
“Yes, it’s official Owens,” Simone Biles wrote on the social network, and Jonathan replied: “My person, forever.”
A seven-time career Olympic medalist, Biles announced her engagement to Owens in February 2022.
Simone said she met Owens online just before the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. According to the American football player, the period of quarantine during the pandemic benefited them, as they had time to get to know each other better.
