
Police have a 34-year-old man who was identified in connection with the murder of his 71-year-old mother in Chalcedon, Thessaloniki earlier this month.
As it became known from the police, he was detained in the morning in an open area near Tumba.
A handwritten note was found in the home of a 34-year-old man in which he allegedly confessed to his act due to the psychological problems his mother faced.
A shotgun was found in the same house, which was allegedly the means of committing his deed.
The body of an old woman was found in the IX car, in the passenger seat, with a head injury.
All this time, according to police sources, he seemed to be wandering around different areas, avoiding arrest.
An arrest warrant has been issued against him by the judicial authorities of Thessaloniki, to which he is asked to apologize.
