Detailed information about compensation from Greek train The tragic train accident in Tempe was reported by the Ministry of Infrastructure.

According to Hellenic Train:

To date, 103 requests have been processed.

– 22 of which concern deceased persons, 12 are overdue and 10 are awaiting necessary documents.

– 71 concerns the victims, 29 of them have been discharged.

– 108 requests for lost luggage, 41 of them were resolved.

Commission conclusion published

Recall also that on Thursday the conclusion of the Expert Commission on the tragedy of the train in Tempi was published by the Ministry of Transport.

In the 228-page conclusion, which is divided into 10 chapters, there is a distribution of responsibilities between organizations and individuals: to OSE, to ERGOSE, to the Transportation Supervision Authority, to Hellenic Train, and also to the fatal station manager, who was taken into custody after a tragic accident , as well as train drivers who allegedly did not follow the rules.

There is also an indication of the need for immediate modernization of the railway as chronic pathologies are identified, as well as the need for fundamental changes in the issues of movement and training of personnel.
