This is a conscious choice for two reasons: it piques the interest of the reader and it portends an enjoyable and comfortable reading experience. On the other hand, it happens that the abstractness of poetry is also present in short prose, so that when reading, a literate reader is called upon to identify problems, find allusions and fill in gaps. Didactic and symbolic, with narrative rather than pure lyricism, they are based on episodes from the everyday life of a city dweller and are therefore worth reading carefully.
I don’t rank them because I think I’m guiding the reader through the selection process, which is not my goal. I draw my voice from the rifts of time, from everyday life, serious, tragic, but also with its charms, and I look forward to the well-known question: what does the poet want to say?
