A 63-year-old Russian woman who is accused of running over her car and then leaving her dog in the Patela area has been released under restrictive conditions after she apologized to a competent investigator. Heraklionin the second half of Maundy Thursday.

The 63-year-old woman was reported by the owner of the dog. The dog sustained injuries all over his body, a more severe injury to his hind leg, and internal bleeding. He underwent surgery and is still hospitalized in a veterinary clinic.

According to the owner, the 63-year-old woman deliberately hit her dog. It is noted that the drift was recorded by the camera.

After the arrest, the 63-year-old driver said she didn’t mean to hit the animal and thought the dog had run off the road when she stepped on the gas.

The offenses he faces are criminal offenses: intentionally causing bodily harm and leaving a pet. She has already been fined 40,500 euros for violating pet laws.

An administrative fine of €200 was also imposed on the owner of the animal for violating the legislation on the welfare of companion animals.
