From Rio de Janeiro to Romania. 34-year-old Romario Pires is one of the oldest foreign footballers in our football. The Brazilian midfielder is practically one of ours, he is married to a Romanian woman from Ploieštian, with whom he has a child.

– “Romanians are hospitable, and the country is really developed. Romanians are demanding or rather dissatisfied with their country, but they need to see the good things and beautiful areas of the country. I see myself living here for a long time and well. A good country to live and raise your children. I don’t care to go. where in the West, for example? Thank you, I’m fine here”

– “My favorite dish is tochitura with polenta. I like rice and pilaf, but only from my mother-in-law, who is the best. And my wife cooks well”

– “Mother, mother-in-law, told me from the very beginning: “Look, take care of my daughter, otherwise it’s murder!”. She is a straight woman. But he saw me and we get along very well. And my mother-in-law and her family take great care of me, they treat me like their child.”
