Easter is coming up and some gyms are closed. In addition, many Romanians will eat more than a normal day and drink a lot of alcohol. Although it is good to “dilute the blood”. After all, we are talking about health.
If you want to exercise, you should consider the first part of the day. That’s because you’re more likely to drink alcohol during dinner. You can say just one glass of wine, but it can also turn into 3.
However, the appetite for sports decreases after drinking alcohol.
Therefore, it is recommended to charge in the morning. If the weather is good, you can run in the park. If you are overweight, do not run: then walk a little more actively in the park, at least 3 kilometers.
At home, if you don’t have a yoga mat, you can put a towel on the floor and do some exercises. To make things even more interesting, a little measurement scheme can be really fun.
You will focus more on time and less on the number of repetitions, which is often annoying.
First of all, you need to warm up, at least 5 minutes, starting from the head and ending with the joints of the legs, ideally you also need to do jumps.
Easter circle
Set the timer on your phone for 30-40 seconds (the time you will be working). Leave a 10-second break between exercises.
*You can do 3 exercises 2 times or repeat the cycle one more time.
- squatting
- Elbow bar
- Dumbbell push-ups and overhead presses: Grab two small dumbbells (if you don’t have them, use two water bottles). Stand up, engage your abs, keep your back straight, knees slightly bent (this helps keep your back straight). Take bottles or dumbbells in your hands (bending – the forearm approaches the hand – the biceps works), then transfer them above your head (training the delta in this way).
- Back lunges (switch legs every 15 seconds)
- Stomach (with legs raised or bent on the floor – your choice)
- Flats with bottles of water or dumbbells (from lying on your back, that is, the same position as for the press, move your shoulders back, and then start swinging, raising your arms – this way the pectoral muscles will work better)
- Sumo squats with water bottles or dumbbells in hands (hang in front of the body – you can also hold a heavier bag)
- Push-ups: if it does not work, then try on your knees, or in an inclined position, leaning on a chair, table, sofa.
*For more fun, if you get bored of push-ups, you can put the bottle a little further in front of you and alternately touch the water bottle or dumbbell with one hand during each push-up.
- Stay bent over with dumbbells or water bottles.
*If you can’t for various reasons, try leaning on the back of a chair with one hand. It is important that you always have a straight back. In this case, after 15 seconds, switch hands.
3 more exercises to follow, but this time for advanced:
- Korean is good practice if you don’t have roommates or live in a house
- Alternating Shoulder Touches with a Board – as if you were going to do a push-up, only you alternately bring your right hand to your left shoulder, turn your palms to the floor, and then the other way around, until the time runs out
- Push-ups with dumbbells (water bottle) lying on your back, but with your legs raised and knees bent at 90 degrees
I hope you enjoy this workout. Happy Easter!
