More than 5,000 citizens at the celebration of Easter in “Antonis Tritsis”

“The presence of thousands of our fellow citizens in the capital park of Attica gives us hope and optimism. I wish that the light of the Resurrection bestows health and strength on everyone.” This was emphasized by the regional governor Yorgos Patulis from the capital’s Antonis Tritsis Park, where thousands of citizens had fun at the big Easter celebration organized by the Attica region with neighboring municipalities and the administration of the park.

More than 5,000 citizens celebrated with traditional music from all over Greece, traditional obelium, rich food, lots of entertainment and dancing in a festive establishment created by the region for those fellow citizens who stay in the capital on Easter day, as indicated in the corresponding announcement from the Attica region.

The co-organizers of the region and the Agency of the Metropolitan Park “Antonis Tricis”, in whose celebration is also the initiative of the Governor of the Region, are the municipalities of Ilio and Ag. Anargiron Kamateru, as already noted. Municipalities of Peristeri, Chaydari, Ag. Barbara, Petrupoli and Egaleo.

The Governor of the region from early morning was present in the capital park, talked and exchanged wishes with the townspeople and heads of organizations, while warmly thanking the volunteers and everyone who contributed to the success of the event, the same announcement points are out.

“The promise that the great Easter holiday will become an institution for the capital park of our heart is being fulfilled. And this year we have gathered here to celebrate Lambri Day, traditionally, with the whole company, as befits a Greek Easter. With joy, vigor and vivacity of the Resurrection, let us enjoy today’s holiday, opening our hearts and hands. I sincerely thank, first of all, our fellow citizens, who honored us with their presence and shared their joy with us. I also want to sincerely thank all the staff of the Park, the District and volunteers for their contribution to this holiday. I also thank Mayors Ilio and Ag. Anargyron-Kamaterou for cooperation, as well as all the municipalities of Western Athens, Peristeri, Chaydari, Ag. Varvras, Petroupolis and Egaleo. At the same time, we would like to thank everyone who helped with their sponsorship and willingly responded to the call of the Attica region, helping to organize in the context of corporate social responsibility. Capital Park. A. Tritsisa is now an oasis of greenery and relaxation, a place of constant meetings and acquaintances. This is the park of our heart. Christ is risen!”.

There were surprises for young and old in the park, and local clubs danced traditional dances. G. Kotsinis was the artistic director of the program, many musicians and singers took turns performing on the music stage, supporting the enthusiasm of the public.

The event, according to the announcement of the Attic region, was attended by the deputy G. Loverdos, the mayors of Agios Anargyro Kamateru, st. Tsirbas, Peristeriou A. Pachaturidis, Professor of Dynamic Tectonics and Applied Geology Ed. Lekkas, deputy governors, regional officials, regional and municipal councilors and a crowd of people.
