Rains and storms are expected across most of the country today, Easter Sunday, according to the latest forecast data from the National Observatory of Athens / meteo.gr.

In more detail, clouds are expected throughout the country, which will be thick in places. Periods of sunshine will exist until noon, mainly in Thessaly, East Sterea and the Peloponnese.

In the morning in the Ionian, as well as in the western and northern continental regions, rain and sporadic storms are expected. From noon, the phenomena will also affect Thessaly, as well as other parts of Steria and the Peloponnese, while they will significantly weaken in Thrace and Eastern Macedonia.

According to Meteo, no phenomena are expected in Attica. According to the law of Thessaloniki, it rains from morning to noon.

According to the Classification of Precipitation Episodes (RPI), which is carried out by the Meteorological Service of the National Observatory of Athens, the expected precipitation episode is classified as Category 2 (moderate).

The seas will be dominated by southerly winds, up to 6-7 on the Beaufort scale in the Ionian and up to 5-6 on the Beaufort scale in the Aegean. In the western continental and Ionian regions, the air temperature will be 15-18 degrees Celsius, in the rest of the country – 18-22 degrees Celsius.

Weather: Temporary clouds in eastern Macedonia and Thrace with local showers that will stop by noon. In other areas, increased cloudiness with local rains and separate thunderstorms, mainly from noon. Phenomena in the evening hours will intensify.

THESSALIA, EASTERN CONTINENT, EASTERN PELOPONNISE
Weather: Cloudy with local rain since noon in Thessaly and central Sterea and gradually in other regions.

CYCLADES, CRETE
Weather: Several clouds have temporarily increased.

Weather: Partially cloudy with local showers until noon and occasional thunderstorms in the morning. Partly cloudy since noon.

EUBEA
