“I don’t know who will win or lose in such a war, but given Poland’s role as a NATO outpost in Europe, this country will definitely disappear along with its stupid prime minister,” Medvedev said.

Medvedev’s statement came after Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said in an interview with NBC earlier on Friday that hostilities in Ukraine could continue for several more years. In addition, in his opinion, Ukraine’s strikes on Russian territory “do not violate any international agreement”, while Kyiv is conducting defensive actions.

When asked by an NBC correspondent about the possibility of an expansion of the conflict in Ukraine, Moravetskyi said that he is not worried about such a scenario, because it would mean “a war between NATO and Russia, which Russia will lose very quickly.”

The Polish Prime Minister emphasized that now NATO countries are not a party to the conflict in Ukraine, but only provide military and financial assistance to Kyiv.

Before that, Medvedev also predicted the death of Ukraine. According to him, neither Europe, nor the USA, nor Russia, nor its own citizens need this country. The Russian politician also emphasized the “artificiality” of the formation of this state and called it “a misunderstanding caused by the collapse of the USSR.” Earlier on Friday, Medvedev said that as soon as the West stops funding Ukraine, not only military operations will stop, but Ukraine itself, Vedomosti added.
