
Police officers in Thessaloniki found and confiscated a large amount of illegal and dangerous items near the football club’s supporters’ association on Maundy Thursday.
According to local media, during the control carried out by the police in the area where the trunk of the stolen police motorcycle was found, a large number of items such as axes, batons, swords, sickles, torches and rockets were found directly near the building of the Ari fans’ association.
This area communicates internally with the association building.
According to thestival.gr, the investigation was also carried out inside the building of the central association, which is located on Mich Street. Papadopoulou, in the Charilaos region, in eastern Thessaloniki.
According to the police, scarves and other items with symbols of the PAOK and Iraklis teams were found in the building.
According to local media reports, a service motorcycle of the Anti-Violence at Sports Facilities Directorate of the Thessaloniki Security Authority was stolen a few days ago. A police officer noticed the trunk of a motorcycle in a building adjacent to the main highway, which was enough to start a police operation.
