The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, says that the actions of the Ukrainians “will be strong”, and they are preparing for this. “And we can hardly wait for the arms deliveries promised by our partners. We are bringing victory as close as possible,” he adds. Zelensky emphasizes that Ukraine’s goal of joining the European Union is “perfectly achievable.”

In a message sent on Thursday evening, Zelenskyi said that a meeting of the Military Cabinet took place in a special format of work with the heads of the Ministry of Defense, command, intelligence services and the Chancellery, News.ro reports.

“Our actions will be strong. We are preparing the boys. And we can hardly wait for the arms deliveries promised by our partners. We are bringing victory as close as possible. And we provide the spirit of unity as much as possible. Efficiency is maximum. Preparation is also at its maximum,” he added.

The President of Ukraine noted that the Day of Defense Industry Workers was celebrated for the first time in the Mariinsky Palace.

“It is very unfair that until now there has not been such a special day in Ukraine to honor the work of all those who create Ukrainian weapons, Ukrainian shells, and Ukrainian equipment. Those who also create our missiles, which showed themselves so vividly in the waters of the Black Sea a year ago, on April 13, when the sea route of the flagship of the Russian fleet in the Black Sea stopped. These are the people who create our weapons – 155 millimeters, which are currently on the battlefield and about which we have only positive feedback from our soldiers and… it is clear what the “feedback” of the occupiers is, “said Zelensky.

According to him, “our whole state, the whole society has something to be grateful for to those professionals who protect and develop the defense-industrial complex.”

He noted that the other day he signed a decree on the establishment of the Defense Industrial Complex Employee Day, thereby marking the day Ukrainian missiles hit the cruiser “Moskva”.

“Ukraine will integrate with all institutions and practices of the European Union”

Zelenskyi added that he held a meeting with government officials and representatives of the parliament regarding reconciliation steps with the European Union, legislative steps.

“The goal of our state is quite achievable. Ukraine will integrate with all institutions and practices of the European Union and will receive the status of a full member. We are fully ready,” he emphasized.

The President of Ukraine noted that he proposed new awards to some fighters.

“For every attack on Ukrainians, the enemy will definitely suffer losses,” Zelenskyy concluded.
