A young OASTH bus passenger was handcuffed by EL.AS because he allegedly hit the driver.
The incident took place on the afternoon of Holy Wednesday, when the bus was on Makrigianni Street in Stavropolis.
As it became known, the 19-year-old boy wanted to get out of the car, but did not seem to press the bell. Protesting, he demanded a reason from the 60-year-old driver. A verbal episode followed, after which the young man used violence, hitting the driver in the face.
He was prosecuted for simple bodily harm and was sent for trial to the Autoforo Monomeles Plimmeliodikeio in Thessaloniki.
A similar act of violence by a group of five young passengers was also reported in the previous 24 hours by a city bus driver in Naples Thessaloniki.
