“True detective, the popular HBO anthology series is back for a fourth season. Streaming service HBO Max has released a trailer for a new series of episodes titled “True Detective: Nightland“.

The main characters of the new season Jodie Foster and Callie Reissas two detectives who are trying to solve a terrible crime in Alaska.

The trailer introduces viewers to Detective Liz Danvers (Foster), who refuses to believe that the disappearance of eight people at the Chalal Arctic research station was an accident. Instead, the detective investigates the incident as a murder, which the locals don’t like. Of course, Liz is so dedicated to her work that she alienates everyone around her, causing them to hate her. That’s why he only works with young detective Evangeline Navarro (Reyes), who has no choice but to stay close to Liz.

Since the action takes place in Alaska, the trailer emphasizes that the lack of sunlight will play a big role in building a mysterious plot. The investigation “unfolds” in winter, which means that the cold will play an important role in the search for the truth. The season was filmed in Iceland.
