The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, in his message on Wednesday evening, stated that the complete reconstruction of Ukraine will be proof of the complete defeat of the “terrorist state”. He noted that the funds of the Russians, who supported the aggression and got rich, should be used for the restoration of Ukraine.

“I just attended a meeting with a special format of support for Ukraine – financial support. This event takes place in Washington and gathers finance ministers of strong democracies – our partners, the European Commission, heads of international financial institutions: the IMF, the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The theme is primarily restoration. Reconstruction of our country after military operations. We thanked our partners for helping us maintain the stability of Ukraine and our financial stability. And I called on them to be more active so that Ukraine could be more active in reconstruction, in returning normal life for Ukrainians,” Zelenskyy said, News.ro reports.

“There will be no ruins in Ukraine. This is our goal. And this will be quite concrete proof of the complete defeat of the terrorist state. Moreover, the world knows the way out – in the fortunes of Russia, Russian officials, oligarchs who have become rich, and their state has become terrorist… All these assets should be used to compensate the losses to those whom Russia has brought pain and suffering. Russian assets must go to recovery after aggression. War should be the most expensive for the aggressor. And we do everything for this,” he said.

Zelenskyi said that he met in Kyiv with the delegation of the US Senate. “I am grateful to the partners who support us. I met today in Kyiv with the delegation of the US Senate – a bipartisan delegation. I informed them about what is currently happening on the battlefield, about our capabilities. As always, we demonstrated that our relations with America in terms of arms supply and financial support are completely clean, completely transparent. Partners have a complete vision of every cent and every weapon. And it is important that no artificial manipulations destroy our trust. Of course, I was pleased to hear from our guests from the USA very positive words about Ukraine and what we are achieving together in defense against terror,” said the Ukrainian leader.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that his country will win the war started by Russia. “Today, our country traditionally celebrates the Day of Space Workers. The industry that has always ensured the glory of Ukraine. And I’m sure will provide it in the future! I am grateful to everyone who preserved this potential of ours. Our current level of integration into international relations, the level of our strength – both as a state and as a society – which Ukraine deserves, the level of our people – all this will allow Ukraine to participate in the development of outer space on an equal basis. with leading countries, and our business is on a par with leading companies.
