A man who recently repeatedly protested in front of the placement of flags of other countries in the municipality of Timișoara was again spotted by the local police removing the flag of Ukraine in front of the town hall, according to the local police, the city announced on Tuesday from Bega.

On Monday evening, the local police were tasked to intervene in front of the Timisoara City Hall building, where a man brought a metal ladder, climbed on it and stole the yellow and blue flag of Ukraine, which was hung in front of the building. buildings, writes Agerpres.

During the identification, it was established that this is the same 38-year-old resident of Timisoara who recently removed the Ukrainian flag from an exhibition in the center of the city, and last year tried to set fire to the flags raised in front of the Timisoara City Hall.

The man said that he stole the flag because it was allegedly hung illegally.
