The University of Craiova is unsuccessful in the playoffs

After draws with FCSB and CFR Cluj, Craiova University could not keep up with leaders Farul Constanța.

Gike Hagi’s team controlled the game, despite the fact that Olten twice led.

Elvir Kolic opened the scoring for Eugen Nyagoe’s side in the 9th minute after a superb chest save against Bolly.

Luis Munteanu restored the tie (min. 17) after Mazilu’s cross, where Mayak squeezed the ball in front of the goal.

It could have been 2:1 in favor of Farul, but Denys Alibek weakly executed a shot from 11 meters, which was deflected by Laurentia Popescu.

After the break, Eugen Neagoe introduced Tsimpana to the field, who again put Kraiova ahead (min. 48) after a personal action that ended with a throw.
