In an interview recently published by Argentine daily La Nación, he detailed how he lost his fortune, eventually being sentenced to two and a half years in prison by Southwark Crown Court for hiding his assets, declaring bankruptcy and defaulting on his debts
He was released on December 15, 2022, then deported to his home country, and will not be able to return to the UK until his initial detention period is over. The owner of 6 Grand Slam trophies, 55-year-old Boris Becker lives today in a reality that does not differ at all from the glorious times of his playing career.
