Pediatric cardiologist Angelica Karaca, who examined Georgina a few days before her admission to Caramandanio, on April 8, 2021, testified at her trial. Roulas Pispirigou that the little girl had absolutely no heart problems and that there was not the slightest sign of a problem that could lead to a miscarriage.

The doctor said that on March 29, 2021, she examined a little girl, as indicated by the pediatrician in connection with the death of Malena and Iris, but did not find the slightest find.

For the protest action, the child was injured in the hospital on April 11, Ing. Karaca said: “Even the flu or the coronavirus can lead to a stop. However, we did not have any clinical data here. It happened openly… Based on my own medical knowledge, the child has no reason to resist. There was no fever, there was no source of infection, there was nothing.”

The doctor confirmed that when Georgina was admitted to the Caramandanio hospital, she was contacted on April 8: “Mr. Filias called me to examine the child, and we agreed to bring him the next day. Then I remembered in my memory that I was seeing the baby and we canceled it because there was no reason to see him again. This is confirmed by the intern who was in my office.”

Examining two of Georgina’s cardiographs before the trial, the witness emphasized that “they are absolutely normal for her age. No suspicion, no indication of anything. I would not repeat the cardiograms if I were in Caramandanio.”

On April 12, 2021, the doctor went to the intensive care unit of the University Hospital of Rio, where Georgina was transferred after a seizure, and examined her.

Referring to these findings, Ms. Karadza told the court: “I was surprised that after such a long stop, the heart had nothing but a slight fluid reflex. Usually these children have a lot of problems after that. The opposition did not trouble her heart. It shows that, despite the long stop, the heart was not affected. In a heart that has had problems, it will surely leave problems. Severe valvular insufficiency, possibly heart clots, and certainly need for supportive medication.”

The doctor pointed out that during the examination of Onassiu, Georgina had no hereditary heart disease.
