Police are investigating a woman after she climbed onto the hood of the car she was driving in Bombeste Gieu in Gorges County. Her behavior raised suspicions, and the test results established that she had used cocaine, News.ro reported.

“On April 3, the city police of Bumbeshti-Giu received an emergency call from a road user that a woman was on the hood of a car on Parangului street in the city of Bumbeshti-Giu. The police went to the scene, where they established the identity of a 29-year-old woman from Telešti commune, Gorj district,” IPJ Gorj reported on Monday evening.

The quoted source clarified that the police established that the woman was driving on DN 66 Bumbeşti-Jiu on the same day.

“The breathalyzer test showed a negative result. Given her agitated behavior, she was drug tested, which showed a positive result for cocaine,” the police said.

The woman was taken to the hospital for collection of biological samples.

In the case, the police opened criminal proceedings on the grounds of committing the crime of driving a vehicle while in a state of psychoactive intoxication.
