“We have launched, through the Bucharest Administration of Lakes, Parks and Leisure, a public tender procedure for two framework agreements, through which we aim to improve the quality of green areas, establish shaded areas in the warm season and reduce air pollution in Bucharest,” writes the deputy mayor on Facebook .

The first framework agreement has a value of 4.8 to 10.2 million lei, money that will be used to purchase seeds, bulbs, lawns, clover, fertilizers and topsoil, says Horia Tomescu.

The second framework agreement has a value of 14.2 to 79.7 million lei and is aimed at “improving the appearance of green areas in parks managed by ALPAB” by purchasing trees, shrubs, perennial woody plants, decorations and ground covers.

Both contracts will be concluded for 2 years.

“As I announced after voting for the capital’s budget for this year, one of my priorities is to invest in a greener Bucharest. Because in a city suffocating with concrete, we need vegetation like air. Therefore, I invite all interested business entities to take part in two procedures at the PDSER, where they will be able to access all documentation regarding the award,” said the deputy mayor.

On March 20, SICAP announced the conclusion of the first framework agreement for the purchase of plant seeds, lawn seeds, as well as arable soil and neutral peat. For the evaluation of proposals, the financial component is 90%, and the delivery time is 10%. The deadline for receiving proposals is April 20.
