On Saturday, a 29-year-old man attacked a local police crew at the entrance of Pasajul Unirii in Bucharest with pieces of cubic stone. The man broke the windows of the truck.

“A 29-year-old man attacked the local police crew with pieces of a cubic stone, which was located at the entrance to the passage, in the direction from University Square to Dimitriy Kantemir Boulevard. Fortunately, the agent, who was on a traffic monitoring mission in the area, was not injured, but two side windows and the rear window of the special vehicle he was in were destroyed,” the City Hall reported to Sector 4 on Saturday.

The cited source specified that, being extremely unruly, the aggressor fled from the scene, and was later caught in the Old Center.

The man was identified and handed over to the police of 14 departments, which conducted investigative actions on the fact of vandalism and violation of public order and peace.
