USR MP Dan Barna was involved in a car accident in Bucharest on Friday night when he was hit by a car while crossing the street on an electric scooter. “On March 31 of this year, around 7:10 p.m., police officers from the Bucharest Municipality Police Headquarters – Road Brigade, while performing their duties, in the area of ​​Bd. Ion Mihalache noticed that the person of a man who was crossing the public road on an electric scooter at the intersection with Arch Street. Iona Minku was allegedly hit by a moving vehicle. In this regard, the traffic police officers identified the persons involved in the incident, and the person who was riding the electric scooter denied having any bodily injuries, and also refused to be transported to the hospital,” the Highway Brigade reported, according to News. ro.

The driver and the man on the electric scooter were guided by the requirements of the law.

“Later, around 8:55 p.m., the road brigade was informed from the Floreaska hospital that a person appeared in this medical center, who stated that around 7:10 p.m. he got into a road accident, as a result of which he received bodily injuries, he was given medical assistance . Traffic police teams went to the hospital, as well as to the scene of the incident, to conduct investigative actions and establish the conditions and circumstances under which the traffic accident occurred,” the source said.

On this fact, a criminal proceeding was opened on the fact of intentional bodily harm, which is under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office of the 1st district court.
