A 53-year-old man was arrested in Thermi, Thessaloniki for sexually harassing a minor.

According to APE, we are talking about a teacher who was arrested on charges of sexual harassment of his 10-year-old student.

The complaint was filed by a minor, a primary school student, to the Sub-Directory for the Protection of Minors in Thessaloniki. According to the complaint, the teacher groped and kissed her, acts that took place at the full-time school she attends in eastern Thessaloniki.

The teacher was arrested and his case was referred to the Thessaloniki Administrative Court, which has three members. He was charged with child abuse and indecent sexual conduct towards a victim under the age of 12 (misdemeanor).

The Autoforo trial was adjourned shortly after noon and his detention was also lifted.
