
A large quantity of smuggled tobacco products was found in the possession of a man who was arrested in Patras by the security police.
In particular, according to the police, in the context of using the information collected by the Patras police officers, they carried out searches in the warehouse used by the accused, as well as in his house.
During the investigation, 11 kilograms 300 grams of smuggled tobacco, as well as 7530 packs of smuggled cigarettes, were found.
The smuggled tobacco products were handed over to Patras Customs, who, according to the police, calculated that the total value of unpaid duties and taxes in their movement was 29,954 euros.
The arrested person is going to be delivered to the prosecutor of Patras.
