According to a related parliamentary statement, the report notes that “in 2022, complex exogenous events have identified major challenges for Greek society, the national economy and the country’s public administration,” however the ombudsman. in this ever-changing environment, he continued “to look for institutional solutions and realistic alternative proposals to remove distortions and anchors in the functioning of the administrative mechanism, in social security and welfare, in health care, in education, in local government organizations, in the tax sphere. administration, in transport, in primary production, in protecting vulnerable groups in society and in strengthening the principle of equal treatment”.

Speaker of the Parliament Konstantinos Tasoulas will send the annual report of the Ombudsman for 2022 to the Standing Committee on Public Administration, Public Order and Justice, as well as to the Special Standing Committee on Institutions and Transparency, so that they, at a joint meeting, report on it in the presence of the Ombudsman A.Pottakis .
