With head and hand injuries, the woman was taken by ambulance to Evangelismos this morning from her area. New Smyrna.

She is said to have been taken to the Nea Smyrni police station and her 17-year-old son is being interrogated as the perpetrator of the attack.

It is not yet clear whether the 17-year-old used a sharp object or injured the mother.

According to APE-MBE, the young man wounded his mother in their apartment, and then allegedly walked half-naked into Plastira Street and shouted in rage: “I killed them all.”
