Timeline of the case

According to the circumstances of the case, the 14-year-old girl first met the main accused, who is 29 years old and the father of minor children, and allegedly engaged in prostitution.

Together with the 29-year-olds, the 24-year-old and the 25-year-old, who were allegedly found with a child in a hotel in Metaxourgio, apologized. Among the defendants is a former guest in the structure of the NGO Kivotos tou Kosmos, who condemned the conditions of the structure and subsequently retracted his complaints.

The sexual abuse of the girl was recorded on video in a hotel in Metaxourgio, material that was allegedly found on the mobile phone of one of the accused.

It appears that the girl left and returned to the building she was in, and there are reports of at least 50 such cases. Authorities believe that any absence of a minor from the building could signal “an assignment of ill-treatment to her.”

The evidence will be examined by the judicial investigation in order to determine, among other things, the scope of the case, the time of initiation of the case against the minor, and also to identify all the persons involved in it.

The authorities’ investigation is expected to reveal whether the 14-year-old was the only girl seduced by the 29-year-old pimp, or if the case concerns a large gang’s actions with victims of vulnerable children.
