At a press conference on the eve of the Euro 2024 qualifier against Romania, Andorra’s coach responded ironically when asked if Romania were favourites.

Koldo Alvarez, optimistic before the match with Romania

Koldo Álvarez was surprised when he learned that Romania was considered the favorite, and hoped that things would not be like that on the field.

“Romania, beloved? When? I will do everything in my power to prevent this from happening! “Football is beautiful because it is unpredictable,” the Andorran coach said before Saturday’s game, according to Digisport.

Romania will face Andorra away on Saturday at 21:45 in their opening Euro 2024 qualifier. The match is broadcast live on Hotnews.ro.

The tricolors are in Group I along with Switzerland, Israel, Kosovo, Belarus and Andorra.
