According to SOTA, which reviewed Vikhareva’s tests, a highly toxic carcinogen – potassium dichromate – was found in Vikhareva’s blood.

At the beginning of December 2022, its concentration in the blood was 2.3 mg, in February 2023 – 1.6 mg. Vikhareva told the publication that the first symptoms of poisoning appeared at the end of November.

She started having stomach pains, palpitations and numbness in her limbs, seizures and fainting, and her hair started falling out.

According to doctors, the symptoms correspond to long-term poisoning with salts of heavy metals.

In February, Vikhareva wrote in her Telegram channel that she “began to run out of all possible energy and physical resources.”

She is known for her vocal opposition to the authorities in the Kremlin, charging that the elections in Russia were “stolen” and criticizing, in particular, the mobilization of men for the war in Ukraine.

The young politician ran for both the State Duma and the Moscow district, losing to candidates from the United Russia party.
