
More than three kilograms of marijuana was discovered by the Patras Police Department of Drug Enforcement during an operation they carried out in the Achaean capital, four people were arrested in this case.
In particular, according to the police, the drug prosecutor’s office, using the evidence they collected, first identified one detainee, who drove a car to the house of a second detainee and handed him a package, which he placed in a backpack. Immediately after that, two more detainees were found in a parked car near the gas station.
During physical checks subsequently carried out by the police, they found three kilograms and 130 grams of marijuana in their possession, which were divided into three packages.
During subsequent searches of the homes of those arrested, the police found 45 grams of marijuana and an electronic scale in the home of one of them, while, according to the police, the illegal financial benefit that the accused could receive from the drug trade ranges from 47,500 euros to 95 000 euros.
The detainees have been brought before the prosecutor of first instance in Patras, while the drug prosecutor’s office continues to investigate the case.
