10 year old girl preparing for surgery allegedly accidentally shot in the thigh with a shotgun by his 14-year-old brotherin Amalias.

According to ERT, the injury suffered by a 10-year-old girl is penetrating and, according to doctors, very serious.

According to police sources, the children’s grandfather was detained for possession of weapons, and the girl’s brother is under investigation by the police.

The children were playing near their house in the park when the 14-year-old found his grandfather’s shotgun in the house. Unnoticed by his mother, who was in the house at the time, he went outside and, over the toy, shot his sister in the thigh while the gun was loaded.

Immediately afterwards, the 10-year-old girl was taken to the Amaliada hospital, where, after receiving first aid, it was considered necessary to transfer her to Caramandanio.
