It seems that in the hands of a taekwondo coach at the Ilioupolis club, at least five underage girls (now grown up) experienced a multi-year nightmare from 2009 to 2020.
This man was arrested by officers of the Juvenile Protection Subdivision yesterday Tuesday (March 21) and prosecuted for serial and continuous rape and abuse of minors.
According to reports from his victims, the detainee allegedly approached underage schoolgirls between the ages of 12 and 16 and gained their trust by demonstrating his athletic skills.
When the students were convinced and joined the competitive section, their nightmare began, as the coach asked them to practice individually both in the sports club he belongs to and at his home. He then performed sexual acts on the girls.
Police sources, speaking to cathimerini.grthey noted that the coach asked the girls to follow him to matches abroad, where he appeared to rape them again.
During a search conducted in his house and in the seized cars, as well as in the school premises, three mobile phones, two tablets, three laptops, a hard drive and a memory card were found and seized.
At the moment, it is established that the detainee committed sexual acts in the above manner in relation to at least five girls who have reached the age of majority, while his participation in other similar acts is being clarified.
