The “cinematic” burglary took place early Saturday morning (March 18) in a maisonette in Dionysos, with the perpetrators leaving with the sum of 200,000 euros and a lot of jewelry.
According to ERT, the perpetrators “turned off” the alarm and then broke into the balcony door of the 1st floor of the maisonette in Dionysus. After searching all the premises and utility rooms, they found and broke open three safes with a wheel, from which they seized 200,000 euros and valuable valuables.
In the basement of the maisonette, 30 priceless paintings by famous Greek artists were found and stolen. As they left, the robbers also seized a voice recorder that was connected to the house’s security cameras.
The Dionysos Police, in cooperation with the North East Attica Security Directorate, is investigating the case.
