In the new online appointment service for applying for a foreign passport, it is possible to make an appointment from the current day for 90 calendar days. Thus, citizens will have the opportunity to make an appointment “depending on the volume and dynamics of requests for passports, which are registered in real time.”

Online application for a foreign passport – necessary steps

To issue a passport, citizens are asked to perform the following actions:

  • To fill out the appointment form, after choosing the district, respectively, choosing the place where you want to apply for a passport, the passport option will be marked.
  • In the “Number of scheduled persons” field, select the number of persons (from the family) for whom the meeting is scheduled.
  • You choose the date and time for which you want to make an appointment, and then fill in the fields:
  • Surname, Surname, Personal numerical code, e-mail address to which the appointment data will be sent, Phone number (if desired), as well as the Surname, First name and CNP of each additional Person will be indicated in the “Additional persons” fields.
  • The “Save” button is activated after express consent to the personal data protection policy.
  • Programming is completed by selecting the “save” button. A message confirming the entry will be sent to the specified email address.

In what cases is the online passport registration cancelled

  • Failure to confirm the entry within 30 minutes leads to its cancellation.
  • The Ministry of Internal Affairs recommends that if a citizen can no longer appear on the scheduled date and time, use the “Cancel record in the confirmation email” link.
  • To cancel an appointment before 03/20/2023, you must enter the “CHECK RECORD” module by entering the email address used during the appointment. A new message will be sent to the corresponding email address from which you can cancel the appointment.
  • The Ministry of Internal Affairs draws attention to the fact that admission is free of charge and cannot be transferred.
  • Failure to appear on the appointed day and time, inconsistency of the data entered in the entry form (surname/patronymic) with the identification data of the person who presents himself when applying for a passport, lack of necessary documents or payment confirmation. of the passport fee lead to the cancellation of the entry.

According to the MAI, from the start of the new service until 12:00, more than 5,500 entries were made, of which 176 were made today for the current day.
