On Monday morning, an explosion occurred at the Vipe de Patre plant, injuring two workers.

According to pelop.gr, the explosion occurred in a fish feed factory, in a machine for drying materials. Two factory workers were injured. Two men were reported to have sustained head injuries.

According to Dimitris Marmuras, president of the Patras Labor Center, the victims were taken to the hospital, where they received first aid, after which they went home.

The case has now been referred to the Labor Inspectorate to investigate the circumstances under which the accident occurred.
