
On Sunday, at 20:30, the police received a statement from a woman that her ex-husband and her twin children, who are about three years old, were locked in a car in the Melissochori area. Thessaloniki and that it smells like liquefied gas.
Police officers immediately arrived at the scene, broke the glass and freed the children and the father from the car. According to the first information, the smell of gas was felt and the children were in a semi-conscious state. The twin children were taken to the Hippocrates Hospital, their lives are not in danger.
Father was taken to 424 military hospital.
Two gas cylinders were found in the car, while the circumstances under which the incident occurred are being investigated.
