
They were released after they were transferred to an automatic three-person misdemeanor court. 15 arrested who were trying to reclaim a previously occupied building belonging to the municipality of Thermi (known as “Mundo Nuevo”) at the intersection of Siatistis and Philipou streets in the center of Thessaloniki.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case due to the absence of witnesses, setting a new trial for the end of the month, and dismissed them. The district attorney had previously filed criminal charges against them for disturbing the peace, vandalizing foreign property and refusing to be fingerprinted.
People from the broader anti-authoritarian scene gathered outside the courthouse in support of the accused.
