Thessaloniki: Arrests of members of a gang that “opened” houses – 130,000 euros of loot

More than 130,000 euros worth of cash and jewelry are included in the booty of the criminal group, which in previous months carried out one theft after another, “cleansing” houses in areas of Thermaikos municipality in Thessaloniki.

Three people were arrested as perpetrators and their wanted accomplice has been identified. They are accused of a total of 13 burglaries in apartments in New Passengers and Perea between July last year and February this year.

The Thermaikos Security police managed to find out their illegal activities when on Thursday morning (16.03) they arrested one of them when, together with his accomplice (he is on the run), they tried to enter the apartment of New Passengers. This was followed by the arrest of two more people who were in the car and held “chili peppers” in their hands.

The vehicle and motorcycle in question were reportedly confiscated, as were the hacking tools and mobile phones.
