The missiles launched by the Russians in recent days in the south and north of Ukraine are aimed at detecting air defense systems, the head of the Nikolaev regional military administration Vitaly Kim reported, ZN.ua writes.

“These missiles, which are often launched from the air from the north and south, are most likely anti-radar missiles. They are looking for our air defenses, but they will only find what they eat without salt,” Kim wrote on his Telegram channel.

On Tuesday morning, an air alert was announced in several regions of Ukraine.

Later, monitoring channels reported on possible launches by Russian aircraft of false targets in the south and north of the country.

The operational command “South” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warns of a high risk of a new missile attack, as Russia has deployed two missile-carrying ships in the Black Sea with a total salvo of up to 16 calibers.

However, experts say the Russians have hit rock bottom in terms of missiles, so the frequency of their attacks has decreased and they are now digging deep into old stockpiles.
