​CFR Cluj ended the regular season in the best way. The champion of Romania inflicted a sharp defeat on “University of Cluj” (4:0), at the end of the match, which the hosts won in the first half.

Ermal Krasnichi, the fifth goal for Dan Petrescu’s team

The Romanian champions are ready for the play-offs after a close win over their local rivals.

The formation coached by Dan Petrescu scored 3 times in the first 45 minutes and decided the game, also taking advantage of the carelessness of the visitors’ defense.

Rangelo Djanga opened the scoring in the 25th minute with a shot from 11 meters after a handball by Ispas in the penalty area.

Ermal Krasnici made it 2-0 after 7 minutes from Kristi Manea’s cross.

In the 41st minute, the champion of Romania received another shot from 11 meters. Remakl fell into the penalty area and touched the ball with his hand, and Manea converted from the penalty spot.

In the second half, Ioan Ovidiu Sabau’s men had more courage, probably thanks to the relaxation of the home camp.

Goranov missed a great opportunity to reduce the deficit, but Simon Skuffe made a great save.

The Romanian champion could have made it 4-0, also with a penalty for handball. Krasnichy executed from 11 meters, but Horcha avoided disaster for the guests.

Daniel Birlighea closed the score in extra time (min. 90+4), after a good action by the hosts.
