A new investigator-appellant now officially takes over the investigation of the tragedy in Tempefollowing the process of his appointment by the Appeals Plenum, which concluded last Friday at Larisa.

It is noted that the scope of the investigation is being clarified daily, is getting out of the control of the head of the station, and is also being shifted to other persons, since, according to available data, the case is complex.

According to the information, the investigator of the appellate instance received all the voluminous material of the case for its in-depth study, since the case is considered complex in many respects. The purpose of the procedure is for the judicial authorities to establish the causes of the accident and assign full responsibility.

At the same time, three defendants, i.е. the two station chiefs and the inspector accused of involvement in the case will have to revisit the investigator’s office so that the investigator can get all the information he needs and understand what the matter is. exactly what happened on that fateful night.

It is recalled that all three defendants were prosecuted for the same criminal and minor offenses as the 59-year-old head of the station, who, after his hours-long confession, was temporarily held in the Larisin prison a week ago.

It should be noted that in the near future from the moment the investigation develops, it is possible to bring other persons to criminal liability.

The investigator of the appellate instance will also receive the data of forensic experts appointed by the head of the Prosecutor’s Office of Larisa, Apostolos Tsamalis. These are the specialized scientists who have compiled the conclusion of their research, and it includes important elements for the case.
