According to IPJ Timiş, police and pyrotechnicians went to the city of Julius on Sunday, where the location of the bomb was announced after a call to the emergency number 112. They were joined by employees of the Research Institute.

“The police from Timisoara were alerted by 112 that a bomb had been planted in a commercial complex on Piaţa Consiliul Europei in Timisoara. Section 4 police officers, SAS Timiş pyrotechnic group and firefighters arrived at the scene,” IPJ Timiş reported.

It appears that the caller was a 15-year-old boy who had previously claimed to have planted bombs in various locations around the city.

He is known to suffer from mental illness and has also been fined for making calls about the location of bombs.
