Juventus of Turin secured an important win at home to last-placed Sampdoria 4-2 in the 26th round of Serie A, moving up the rankings to close to the places leading to the European Cups.

Massimiliano Allegri’s men got off to a great start, scoring two goals in the first half hour.

Bremer opened the scoring in the 11th minute, and in the 26th Rabiot doubled the advantage of Turin.

However, the first half ended in a draw, with Sampdoria scoring twice within a minute thanks to Augello (31) and Djuricic (32).

In the second half, Juventus fought back, and Rabiot scored a double in the 64th minute, and five minutes later, Vlahovych missed a shot from 11 meters.

Mathias Soule scored the final goal in extra time.

Turin “Juventus” climbed to the seventh position in the Serie A standings with 38 points, four from the last place in the European Cup qualification.
