South African police announced on Sunday the opening of an investigation into the death of rapper Costa Titch during a concert, reports AFP.
Police said the 27-year-old artist “collapsed on stage while performing at a concert” on Saturday night in Johannesburg. The cause of death has not yet been determined and an autopsy is to be performed.
In a video from Saturday night’s concert, shared on social networks, the rapper with a microphone in his hands falls for the first time.
He gets up and continues to sing, but a little further on the stage he falls again, and the artists present next to him at the concert rush to pick him up.

The death of Kosta Tsobanoglu, his real name, comes a month after the murder of another well-known South African rapper, Kiernan Forbes, or AKA. The latter was shot dead by two men as he was leaving a restaurant in Durban (South East). The investigation is still ongoing.
