
Emma Reducanu cruised to victory in the second round of Indian Wells, winning in two sets against Poland’s Magda Lynette, who is ranked 21st in the world.

The 2021 US Open champion won after one hour and 51 minutes of play, 7-6(3), 6-2.
Lynette led the first set, but Emma Reducanu (77 WTA) came back at the end to win in a tie-break after two service losses by the Pole.
The British woman easily won the second set and is preparing for the next round.
In the third round in Indian Wells, Emma Reducanu will meet the winner of Kateryna Sinyakova (45 WTA) and Beatrice Haddad Maia (13 WTA).
Indian Wells will be held from March 6-19 on hard and 96 players have started in the two main draws. The contest offers $8,800,000 each for men and women. Titled champions – Taylor Fritz and Iga Svyatek.
