Regarding the attack received by President K.O. and MeRA25 secretary, tonight in Exarchia, as a result of his injury, it is reported that the Minister for the Protection of Citizens, Takis Theodorikakos, in a direct telephone conversation with him, wished him a speedy recovery and assured that the Greek police would immediately begin all necessary actions to identify and apprehend those responsible .

Also, the Greek police headquarters clarifies that during the disputed period of time, the MeRA25 secretary was not accompanied by a personal police guard on his own initiative.

From the first moment the Greek police were informed, the policemen of the State Security Directorate immediately went to the hospital, where the secretary of MeRA25 went to provide first aid.
