With their impressive incomes and lavish lifestyles, which are increasingly displayed on social media, more and more athletes have recently become victims of thieves.

The last such incident was recorded 2 weeks ago during a French league match between Marseille and PSG, when thieves broke into the homes of PSG’s Marquinhos and Marseille’s Payet.

10 football players who were robbed

1. Fede Valverde – this one was more “lucky”, as thieves found only 10 thousand euros in a house in Madrid.

2. Robert Lewandowski a watch worth EUR 69,000 was taken from him – not by means of a slip.

The incident happened when Lewandowski rolled down his car window to sign autographs outside the Joan Gamper Sports Center in San Juan Despices, Barcelona.

The Polish attacker chased the thief on foot in the hope of taking his watch himself, which was later seized by the police from the hands of the thief, Dailymail writes.
